Tom\u00e1s Mercedes Payano, juez presidente de la Corte de Trabajo del Departamento Judicial de San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, afirm\u00f3&nbsp;que la&nbsp;mayor\u00eda de las salas en esa demarcaci\u00f3n trabajan al d\u00eda, \u201calgo impensable hace pocos a\u00f1os, pues donde antes hab\u00eda rezago, hoy hay orden y seguimiento permanente\u201d.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Durante&nbsp;su discurso con motivo de la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda del Poder Judicial, el magistrado Payano Mercedes&nbsp;subray\u00f3&nbsp;que&nbsp;\u201choy dimos un paso hist\u00f3rico,&nbsp;la mora dej\u00f3 de ser un rasgo permanente del sistema&nbsp;y la&nbsp;justicia dominicana aprendi\u00f3 a respetar el tiempo de las personas, que es tambi\u00e9n respetar sus derechos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Destac\u00f3 que se han dado pasos firmes hacia la modernizaci\u00f3n&nbsp;digital y&nbsp;que&nbsp;el esfuerzo por reducir la mora judicial no son metas estad\u00edsticas,&nbsp;sino&nbsp;respuestas concretas al clamor de una sociedad que exige resultados justos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, con su esfuerzo, cada tribunal del pa\u00eds est\u00e1 aportando a un sistema m\u00e1s previsible, eficiente y confiable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Resalt\u00f3 que&nbsp;hoy&nbsp;la justicia llega a m\u00e1s personas, a m\u00e1s lugares y con menos barreras, gracias a que los servicios digitales abrieron la puerta a una justicia cercana, especialmente para&nbsp;los m\u00e1s vulnerables.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCada sede judicial del pa\u00eds, grande o peque\u00f1a, siente el impacto de esta nueva forma de servir.\u202fLa infraestructura moderna, digna y accesible es&nbsp;tambi\u00e9n&nbsp;parte de nuestro compromiso con la ciudadan\u00eda\u201d, apunt\u00f3.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Expuso&nbsp;que la&nbsp;justicia&nbsp;es la columna vertebral de&nbsp;la&nbsp;democracia&nbsp;y que sin un sistema judicial independiente, transparente y eficiente, el concepto de libertad pierde su sentido.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, manifest\u00f3 que se avanza hacia un sistema penal que resuelve conflictos sin prolongar sufrimientos y que la cultura del acuerdo ha demostrado que es posible cerrar casos r\u00e1pidos.&nbsp;\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Insisti\u00f3 en que&nbsp;las resoluciones alternas de conflictos benefician&nbsp;a las v\u00edctimas, reducen la prisi\u00f3n preventiva y mejoran la convivencia social, \u201cen varios departamentos ya vemos tasas hist\u00f3ricas de acuerdos, fruto de coordinaci\u00f3n real entre jueces, Ministerio P\u00fablico y Defensa P\u00fablica\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El&nbsp;magistrado Payano&nbsp;record\u00f3&nbsp;que el Plan Justicia del Futuro 2034 es&nbsp;la&nbsp;ruta para garantizar un sistema eficiente, accesible y confiable en todo el pa\u00eds, proponiendo metas claras&nbsp;con&nbsp;cero mora, acceso universal&nbsp;y&nbsp;servicios 100% digitales.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa justicia la construimos entre todos; cada esfuerzo cuenta y cada paso suma.\u202fLo logrado es motivo de orgullo, pero tambi\u00e9n un compromiso para seguir avanzando\u201d, concluy\u00f3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> <a
