Ledesma, jueza integrante del Consejo del Poder Judicial (CPJ) de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, hizo un llamado a reflexionar sobre c\u00f3mo contribuir para erradicar la violencia de g\u00e9nero y apoyar a las v\u00edctimas en su b\u00fasqueda de justicia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La jueza Zayas Ledesma realiz\u00f3 el planteamiento durante el <strong>XX Encuentro de magistradas de los m\u00e1s altos \u00f3rganos de Justicia de Iberoam\u00e9rica \u201cpor una justicia de g\u00e9nero\u201d, <\/strong>y su participaci\u00f3n en el taller<strong> \u201cEst\u00e1ndares Internacionales de la Corte Penal Internacional en el Juzgamiento de la Violencia basada en G\u00e9nero\u201d.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En su ponencia, reconoci\u00f3 el papel crucial que desempe\u00f1a la Corte Penal Internacional (CPI) en el juzgamiento de la violencia basada en g\u00e9nero, cuyos est\u00e1ndares y procedimientos buscan justicia para las v\u00edctimas y establecen precedentes importantes para la protecci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos a nivel global.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Asegur\u00f3 que, la violencia de g\u00e9nero afecta a todas las sociedades y requiere un enfoque integral y colaborativo para su erradicaci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa labor de la Corte Penal Internacional nos recuerda que la justicia internacional es una herramienta poderosa contra las atrocidades; promueve un mundo m\u00e1s equitativo y seguro para todos y todas\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la consejera.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para la jueza, cuya labor jurisdiccional la ha ejercido en materia penal, abordar de manera efectiva y justa los casos de violencia de g\u00e9nero garantiza que se haga justicia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La delegaci\u00f3n dominicana que participa del c\u00f3nclave la completan las juezas Pilar Jim\u00e9nez, presidenta de la Primera Sala de la Suprema Corte de Justicia; Vanessa Acosta Peralta, integrante de la citada sala; Nancy Salcedo, de la Sala Penal de la SCJ y coordinadora de la Comisi\u00f3n para la Igualdad de G\u00e9nero del Poder Judicial; Mar\u00eda Garabito Ram\u00edrez, jueza de la Segunda Sala de la SCJ, y la directora de Justicia Inclusiva, Rosa Iris Linares.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Encuentro<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El XX Encuentro de Magistradas de los m\u00e1s Altos \u00d3rganos de Justicia de Iberoam\u00e9rica \u201cpor una justicia de g\u00e9nero\u201d realizado en Paraguay, concluy\u00f3 con la firma de la <strong>Declaraci\u00f3n de Ciudad del Este, <\/strong>en la cual las magistradas y exmagistradas firmantes se comprometen a promover los cambios en la cultura jur\u00eddica para incorporar la aplicaci\u00f3n del derecho internacional de los derechos humanos de las mujeres, por medio del control de convencionalidad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n, robustecer y promover la creaci\u00f3n de mecanismos institucionales, como unidades, secretar\u00edas, responsables de transversalizar la perspectiva de g\u00e9nero en la administraci\u00f3n de justicia.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se comprometieron exhortar a las autoridades acad\u00e9micas a abordar la cuesti\u00f3n de los derechos humanos de las mujeres desde la interseccionalidad en la impartici\u00f3n de justicia y la utilizaci\u00f3n del control de convencionalidad, entre otros aspectos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La actividad es organizada por la Corte Suprema de Justicia de Paraguay (CSJ) y la Fundaci\u00f3n Justicia y G\u00e9nero de Costa Rica, que act\u00faa como Secretar\u00eda T\u00e9cnica.&nbsp; Asimismo, cuenta con el apoyo de la Agencia Espa\u00f1ola de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), el Centro de Estudios Judiciales (CEJ) y la Itaip\u00fa Binacional.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los pa\u00edses
