{"id":2197,"date":"2023-05-08T21:41:27","date_gmt":"2023-05-08T21:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poderjudicial.gob.do\/?p=37170"},"modified":"2023-05-08T21:41:27","modified_gmt":"2023-05-08T21:41:27","slug":"presidente-suprema-corte-de-justicia-santo-domingo-sera-la-capital-mundial-del-derecho-en-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnlopez.com\/de\/2023\/05\/08\/presidente-suprema-corte-de-justicia-santo-domingo-sera-la-capital-mundial-del-derecho-en-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidente Suprema Corte de Justicia: \u201cSanto Domingo ser\u00e1 la capital mundial del Derecho en 2025\u201d\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/poderjudicial.gob.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/6M5B7206-scaled.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\"><\/div>\n<p><em>Luis Henry Molina Pe\u00f1a invit\u00f3 a la comunidad jur\u00eddica europea a participar en el evento internacional que concentrar\u00e1 a jueza, juezas, abogados de diferentes pa\u00edses en la capital dominicana.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MADRID, Espa\u00f1a. \u2013 Una comisi\u00f3n del Poder Judicial particip\u00f3 en Madrid en la reuni\u00f3n preparatoria de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mundial de Juristas (WJA, siglas en ingl\u00e9s), donde se ofrecieron los detalles de la 28 edici\u00f3n del Congreso Mundial de Derecho a realizarse en Nueva York en julio de este a\u00f1o, evento que cont\u00f3 con la presencia del rey de Espa\u00f1a, Felipe VI.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, el presidente de la SCJ invit\u00f3 a la comunidad Jur\u00eddica europea a participar en el Congreso Mundial de Derecho a realizarse en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en febrero de 2025, con el objetivo de buscar respuestas que permitan enfrentar desaf\u00edos que atentan contra el Estado de Derecho.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCuando se cuestiona el Estado de Derecho, tambi\u00e9n se cuestiona la democracia. Hoy enfrentamos desaf\u00edos que provienen de muchos frentes y por eso es importante que aunemos esfuerzos y compartamos conocimientos\u201d, sostuvo.<br \/>En dicho congreso se reunir\u00e1n l\u00edderes mundiales, incluidos jefes de Estado, jueces, legisladores, acad\u00e9micos, abogados, activistas y estudiantes, donde debatir\u00e1n una amplia variedad de temas actuales que la comunidad jur\u00eddica debe abordar y proponen soluciones.<\/p>\n<p>La delegaci\u00f3n dominicana la integran el presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia (SCJ), Luis Henry Molina Pe\u00f1a; el magistrado Samuel Arias Arzeno, juez de la Primera Sala de la SCJ; y la consejera Bionni Zayas, quienes estuvieron acompa\u00f1ados por el embajador dominicano en Espa\u00f1a, Juan Bol\u00edvar D\u00edaz.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco del evento fue inaugurado adem\u00e1s el Centro Digital de Estado de Derecho de la World Law Foundation, primero de los centros que el WLF pondr\u00e1 en marcha en los cinco continentes y que ser\u00e1 un espacio para que los diferentes actores impulsen de manera conjunta su impacto social, con foco en promover la importancia del Estado de Derecho entre los j\u00f3venes juristas, estudiantes y la sociedad en general.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte de la agenda de la comisi\u00f3n dominicana se sostendr\u00e1 una reuni\u00f3n con la Ministra de Justicia de Espa\u00f1a, doctora Pilar Llop; un encuentro con el director general de Transformaci\u00f3n Digital de la Administraci\u00f3n de Justicia, Aitor Cubo, con quien conversar\u00e1 sobre la experiencia en digitalidad del Poder Judicial de Espa\u00f1a y contempla una reuni\u00f3n con Anna Terr\u00f3n, directora general de la Fundaci\u00f3n Internacional para Iberoam\u00e9rica de Administraci\u00f3n y Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas (FIIAPP).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Premiaci\u00f3n<\/strong><br \/>La comisi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n asisti\u00f3 a la entrega del Premio Mundial de la Libertad y la Paz a Andrew Young, destacado l\u00edder estadounidense de derechos civiles que ha trabajado por el avance social, pol\u00edtico y econ\u00f3mico de los oprimidos de todo el mundo.<br \/>Tambi\u00e9n a la entrega de Medallas de Honor WJA Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a juristas cuyo trabajo y activismo ha promovido el Estado de Derecho y la igualdad, rompiendo techos de cristal y allanando el camino para que otras mujeres y ni\u00f1as sigan sus pasos y se conviertan en futuras l\u00edderes.<\/p>\n<p>Las distinciones fueron otorgadas a Navi Pillay, Sud\u00e1frica, juez ad hoc de la Corte Internacional de Justicia de La Haya en la solicitud de genocidio de Gambia contra Myanmar; Brenda Hale, primera mujer presidenta del Tribunal Supremo del Reino Unido; Asifa Kakar, en representaci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Mujeres Jueces Afganas Refugiadas y Juez del Tribunal Supremo de Afganist\u00e1n; Imrana Jalal, comisionada de la primera Comisi\u00f3n de Derechos Humanos de Fiji; y Ambiga Sreenevasan, ex presidenta de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Abogados de Malasia.<\/p>\n<p> <a
